Learn to Bike Program Description
- Jack of Sports 3 Step Coaching Methodology has a 95% success rate for bikers 4yrs+
- Balance bike provided at 1st lesson to develop the skill of gliding & balancing
- Transition to Pedal Bike with gliding & pedaling
- Learn how to properly brake bicycle and come to a complete controlled stop
- Practice tight turns through obstacles course
- Tip toe & stationary starts
- Parents must bring home Balance Bike to practice and return last lesson
- Coach will notify parent when to bring 2 wheel bicycle (without training wheels)
- Parent needs to ensure seat on 2 wheel bike at height where balls or heel of child's feet can touch the ground
- Items to bring: bike helmet, running shoes, water bottle, nut free snacks & weather appropriate clothing
- Drop off program with option to stay if desired
- Bikers 9 yrs+ please contact us to discuss crash course &/or private lesson if interested
