3V3 House League Soccer Program Description
A faster-paced and simplified version of the game, designed to accelerate player engagement and skill development. With fewer players on the field and maximized playing time, participants are constantly involved in the action. This format encourages quick decision-making, creativity, and skillful play, making it a fun and highly engaging way to develop soccer fundamentals in a safe and exciting environment.
House League Structure
- Players will be on teams of 5 players (max.)
- Players will participate in 10 minutes of Fundamental Training Drills – Dribbling, passing, striking & agility and positioning within their teams
- Teams will breakout into their respective 3v3 team games
- Each team will have 3 games per session
- Subs will be monitored by coaches and sub on the fly
- Scores and records will be tracked
How is 3V3 different from regular soccer?
- 3v3 soccer is a more compact, dynamic, and skill-focused version of the game.
- Designed for accessibility, creativity, and maximum player involvement
- All players are constantly engaged due to the small team size
- Players take on multiple roles (defender, midfielder, attacker) in a single game allowing players to accelerate development in decision making, ball control, creativity, speed, and agility
