Prerequisites:
- Bronze Cross *can be an expired certification, but highly recommend that it is a valid certification
- Age 15yrs+
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C (not the same as Emergency First Aid that's completed in Bronze Medallion)
Course Description:
- Nationally, and internationally recognized
- Certified individuals are qualified to legally work as a certified lifeguard
- Candidates will learn importance of lifeguarding principles, sound judgment and the responsibilities of this role
- National Lifeguard (pool option) - can only be lifeguard at a pool
- Expires in 2 years
Why do I need this certification?
- To be employed as a lifeguard anywhere in Canada
- Will not need to re-certify your Bronze Cross

- Walk northbound on Dundas St. W towards Bloor St.
